In the morning, we walked around San Felipe during their holiday of which the town was founded back in the 1700s, we wanted to buy more winter clothes that we did not which were insanely discounted but did not since we had no room in our suitcases, and we enjoyed the view of the snow-capped mountains. We walked around the center park which had several vendors that sold specialty chocolates especially with manjar (caramel?), children’s books, smoothies, artesanal clothes, etc. We were told that the ski resort is 1 hour away and no one knew of anywhere close to hike nor did they do much hiking so I guess I will continue by search for an alternative exercise (other than trying to do yoga in 4 feet of space in my room).
